Invasion?

Invasion, hoard,
illegal, alien.
Overwhelming onslaught,
out of control.
Fearful, huddled,
desperate, human. Overwhelmed, helpless,
loss of control.
Seen through a lens
of suspicion and blame,
the naming of supplicants
changes the view:
frightened, resilient, hopeful, brave,
herded like cattle, belittled,
betrayed.
