Dear Mr Vickers: a letter to a “loyal” Tory MP

Dear Mr Vickers,

You are at least loyal to the end.

  • Loyal to a law-breaking liar.
  • Loyal to somebody who would drop you like a dirty sock.
  • Loyal to someone who lied to the queen, when illegally proroguing Parliament.
  • Loyal to someone who repeatedly misled Parliament.
  • Loyal to someone who’s first instinct is to lie.
  • Loyal to someone who got Brexit done, but didn’t get Brexit done
  • Loyal to someone who vowed there would be no border down the Irish Sea
  • Loyal to someone who wants to break International Law
  • Loyal to someone who defends bullies
  • Loyal to someone who defended an MP mired in corruption,  then binned him as soon as it was expedient
  • Loyal to someone who has had two ethics advisers quit
  • Loyal to someone who broke his own laws
  • Loyal to someone who has apologised in public many times, then later made it clear he had nothing to apologise for.
  • Loyal to someone who promoted a person with a history of sexual impropriety
  • Loyal to someone with a history of saying racist, homophobic, sexist, islamophobic things
  • Loyal to someone who oversaw a culture of law breaking in Downing St
  • Loyal to someone who, whilst Foreign Secretary met, without advisers,  an ex KGB operative straight after a Russian nerve agent attack on British soil
  • Loyal to someone who has trashed our NHS, economy, justice departments
  • Loyal to someone who has trashed our reputation around the world and made us a laughing stock
  • Loyal to someone who divided our country
  • Loyal to someone who seemed intent on breaking up the Union
  • Loyal to someone who cares not a jot for impartiality and inserts lackeys into jobs they have no right to be in
  • Loyal to someone who has soiled the office of PM
  • Loyal to someone who is mired in scandal after scandal

I could keep going on, but I am in danger of getting a Repetitive Stress Injury.

I believe that you can judge a person by the company that they keep.

So what does this say about you?

I do not believe you are a fit and proper person to represent me, unfortunately I am unable to request your recall as just because you lack, in my opinion, a shred of integrity this is not enough to trigger it.

When I first met you back in 2019, I had little confidence in you. However, you have exceeded my expectations unbelievably, in a terrible way.

I am looking forward to your response.

Regards

Chris Wade
