Moved by the ongoing refugee crisis caused by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, David Palk, from the UK travelled to Poland to do what he could to help support work with refugees. He is currently in Lublin, a beautiful city with an interesting and sometimes tragic past.
In Lublin, David, is working in refugee assistance. This includes essential and practical tasks, such as food distribution, sandwich-making and whatever needs to be done.
On 21 May David posted on facebook:
“The news as I find it.
I hear many tales here. One unconfirmed report is that as many Ukraini are returning home; to check on families, houses etc. equally many are fleeing to the West.
Local intel. is another Putin push in the next fortnight. “
